This symposium on the dynamics of gene expression brings together international speakers and local experts in chromatin organization, RNA regulation, and pathogen biology, all gathering in the Justus Liebig University's Assembly Hall right in the center of Giessen.
The programme features 30+ talks over 2,5 days. Keynote speakers are former FMI Basel Director Susan Gasser (Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research, Lausanne), Schraga Schwartz (Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot), and Bas van Steensel (Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam). A welcome reception will take place on day 1, followed by a poster session on day 2, offering ample opportunities for scientific interactions. To download the full programme, click here.
Attending the symposium is FREE, but registration is required.
Registration is open till Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
The symposium is a joint venture organized by two Ph.D. programmes: the EU-funded Marie-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) "Cell2Cell - role of cellular heterogeneity in chromatin structures in pathogen infections" and the DFG-funded Research Training Group (RTG) 2355 "Regulatory networks in the mRNA life cycle: from coding to noncoding RNAs".
We are looking forward to seeing you in Giessen!
